I love the smell of gingerbread. Gingerbread in the oven fills my kitchen with Christmasy happiness. After the warm gingerbread-scented air subsides, I sniff the cookies. I’m not proud… but it is soooo good. I don’t bake gingerbread every year. It is a love-it or hate-it kind of cookie. Sadly, there are very few love-it types in my orbit. But not this year! My California sister and her California kids are coming east for Christmas and they LOVE gingerbread! And I love them for loving gingerbread.
Unfortunately for you, you cannot smell these cookies, but I promise they smell delicious.
