The quality of my baking is directly proportional to the quantity of my work stress. The consumption of sweets in my office is inversely proportional to Democrats’ political fortunes.
To keep my team’s spirits up (and my own stress at bay) I have brought treats to the office every Monday since Labor Day (which is not a holiday in my world, unfortunately.) I have been sticking to treats that require <60 mins baking and cleaning time. But for Halloween, the crew deserves a bit more. I polled the office. These cookies have a higher approval rating than John Boehner.
